# Privacy Notice for Bug and Issue Reports

This notice explains information handling for bug and issue reports submitted through the JPY DeFi user app provided by JPYdf Foundation DAO LLC (the “Foundation”). The Foundation determines the purposes and handling policies and is responsible for receiving and responding to reports. It may engage service providers for investigation and technical processing.

In this notice, “we” means the Foundation.

User support is provided in English only and is unavailable to Restricted Persons as defined in the [terms of use](/jpy-defi/reference/interface-terms.md). Review the [excluded countries and territories](/jpy-defi/reference/interface-terms.md#restricted-jurisdictions) before confirming eligibility. The form records your eligibility confirmation with the submission; it is not sent to the support channel or analytics. Privacy rights requests and security reports remain available as required by law and for security handling.

## Purposes of use

We use the submitted information to investigate and respond to reports, prevent duplicate submissions and abuse, and manage each report from receipt through deletion. We do not use it for advertising or marketing.

## Information we collect

* Required fields: issue category, summary, details, and reply email address
* Optional fields: reproduction steps, EVM wallet address, and transaction hash
* When the form is opened from the User App: path of the page where the issue occurred, app version, and language
* Operational data: report ID and receipt, delivery, and deletion times and statuses

Provide a wallet address or transaction hash only when it is relevant. Do not submit a private key, seed phrase, password, authentication code, or other secret.

## Services we use

We receive the form through Tally, validate and process it on AWS in the Tokyo Region, and forward it to Slack. To review, categorize, and summarize reports, we may process submitted information with AI services provided by third parties. See the [Tally Privacy Policy](https://tally.so/help/privacy-policy) for Tally's handling of data.

## Retention and deletion

We delete Tally responses and reports forwarded to Slack in a monthly deletion run after 90 days have passed since receipt. As a result, deletion can take up to about 120 days from receipt. Data awaiting delivery to Slack is deleted after delivery and, if delivery does not succeed, within 14 days of receipt.

Management data containing only the report ID and delivery or deletion status does not contain the report body, reply email address, wallet address, or transaction hash. It is deleted together with the report; for reports that could not be delivered to Slack, it is deleted automatically after 120 days have passed since receipt.

After data is deleted from Tally, removal from Tally's backups may take up to an additional 90 days.

## Your requests and contact

To request disclosure, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, contact JPYdf Foundation DAO LLC at <support@jpydf.com>. We will respond after verifying your identity and in accordance with applicable law.
